Privacy policy

Astral RTX LLC ("Astral RTX", "we", "us") is a retailer of computer graphics cards based in 13601 Preston Rd, Suite 800, Dallas, TX 75240, United States. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy. You can reach us about privacy at support@asusrogastral.com or (888) 555-0190.

• Order information: name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number, and the items you buy.
• Payment information: card details are entered directly into our PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We receive only the card brand, last four digits, expiry month and an authorization result — never your full card number or security code.
• Cryptocurrency payments: the wallet address you pay from and the transaction ID. Blockchain transactions are public by nature; we do not attempt to link them to anything beyond your order.
• Support conversations: emails, chat transcripts, call notes and any photos or videos you send us for a return or warranty claim.
• Business accounts: company name, tax-exemption certificates and billing contacts for customers who request business pricing.

• Device and browser data: IP address, browser type, operating system, language and approximate location (city/state level) derived from your IP.
• Usage data: pages viewed, products added to cart, referring website and time on page.
• Cookies and local storage: used to keep your cart between visits, remember preferences and understand how the site is used. See section 7.
• Fraud signals: because flagship GPUs are a common target for fraud, our payment processor evaluates signals such as address match, device fingerprint and order velocity. This protects you as much as us.

• To process, ship and track your order, and to send order confirmations, shipping updates and receipts.
• To verify payments and prevent fraud, chargebacks and unauthorized use of payment cards.
• To handle returns, refunds, replacements and warranty claims, including sharing serial numbers with the manufacturer when you ask us to.
• To answer your questions and provide technical support.
• To meet legal obligations such as sales-tax collection, accounting and record-keeping.
• To improve our website, catalog and service using aggregated, de-identified analytics.
• To send marketing emails only if you opt in. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe link.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share only what is necessary with:

• Payment processors (card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and our cryptocurrency payment gateway) to take payment and screen for fraud.
• Shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx) to deliver your order and obtain a signature.
• Manufacturers (ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, NVIDIA) only when processing a warranty claim on your behalf.
• Service providers that host our website, send our emails and run our help desk, under contracts that limit their use of your data.
• Authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect against fraud or harm.
• A successor business if Astral RTX is ever merged or acquired, subject to this policy.

• Order and invoice records: 7 years, as required for tax and accounting.
• Serial-number and inspection records: for the life of the manufacturer warranty plus one year.
• Support conversations: 3 years.
• Analytics data: 26 months, then deleted or fully anonymized.
• Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

• Essential: keep your cart, secure checkout and prevent fraud. These can't be turned off.
• Analytics: help us understand which pages are useful. Data is aggregated.
• Preferences: remember choices like recently viewed cards.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; the cart may not work without essential storage. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out of any sharing.

Our site is served entirely over HTTPS with TLS 1.2 or higher. Payment data never touches our servers. Access to customer records is limited to staff who need it, protected by two-factor authentication and logged. No system is perfectly secure, but if we ever discover a breach that affects you, we'll notify you as required by law.

Depending on where you live — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with privacy laws — you may have the right to:

• Know what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law.
• Opt out of marketing, sale or targeted advertising (we don't sell or target, but you may still opt out).
• Appeal a decision we make about your request.

To make a request, email support@asusrogastral.com with the subject "Privacy request". We'll verify your identity by matching details from a past order and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent. We will never discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

In the past 12 months we have collected identifiers, commercial information, internet activity and approximate geolocation for the business purposes listed in section 4. We have not sold or shared personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not knowingly collect information from consumers under 16.

Our website is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, if you have an account or recent order, notify you by email before the change takes effect.
