How to pay with Bitcoin using Cash App
Don't have Bitcoin yet? Cash App lets you buy it in minutes and send it straight to our wallet. Here's exactly how.
Part 1 — Buy Bitcoin on Cash App
- 1
Open Cash App and verify your identity
Sending Bitcoin out of Cash App requires identity verification. Tap your profile icon, then follow the prompts to confirm your full name, date of birth, the last four digits of your SSN and, if asked, a photo of your ID. Approval is usually quick.
- 2
Add money to your balance
On the Money tab, tap Add Cash and choose an amount, or make sure a debit card or bank account is linked so the purchase can be funded.
- 3
Go to Bitcoin
From the Money tab, tap the Bitcoin tile.
- 4
Tap Buy
Choose a preset amount or tap the … to enter a custom dollar amount. Buy slightly more than your order total to cover the network fee and any price movement.
- 5
Confirm the purchase
Review the amount and Cash App fee, then confirm with your PIN or Touch/Face ID. The Bitcoin appears in your Cash App Bitcoin balance right away.
Part 2 — Send Bitcoin to our wallet
- 1
Open your NOWPayments checkout
After placing your order, open the NOWPayments page shown at checkout or use the payment link in your order email. Copy the Bitcoin address and exact BTC amount shown there. Check that the invoice is still active. Always copy and paste the address — never type it by hand.
- 2
Open Bitcoin and tap Send
In the Bitcoin tile, tap the send (paper-plane) button, or tap the Bitcoin icon and choose Send Bitcoin.
- 3
Enter the amount
Toggle to BTC and enter the exact amount from your order, then tap Send.
- 4
Paste or scan the address
Tap the address field to paste our address, or tap the scan icon to scan the QR code. Check the first and last 6 characters match exactly.
- 5
Choose a speed
Pick Standard (free, slower), Priority or Rush. Faster options carry a network fee but confirm sooner.
- 6
Confirm and save the receipt
Confirm with your PIN or Face ID and save the transaction receipt. NOWPayments will check the transfer automatically. Your order is marked paid only once payment processing is complete; contact support if your payment is delayed or incomplete.
